About Feline Friends

Feline Friends is an other place in Deerfield Beach, Florida. It is listed at 167 NE 2nd Ave, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441, which places it among the local businesses of Deerfield Beach that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Places that do not fit a cafe, bakery, tea, breakfast or nearby-store category land here: tourist attractions, parks and museums with a cafe on site, and unrelated businesses that came in through an import or a Google Maps match. Attraction cafes usually keep the venue's hours and may require admission to reach, so check before making the trip; park kiosks and museum coffee counters are often seasonal. Other listings are kept so that an old address or phone number still resolves and can be re-filed into the right category later.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. You can reach Feline Friends at (954) 596-0848; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is felinefriendsfl.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating stands at 3.1 out of 5 from 124 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Deerfield Beach is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Deerfield Beach follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Great* rescue but please be patient with owner... very.. very crabby :) πŸ¦€ "the meanest people need the most love." She's got a good heart, otherwise she wouldn't love cats now would she.. πŸˆβ€β¬› 🐈

Extremely rude. We knocked at Feline Friends & the woman who answered said I'm not open, by appt. only, in a somewhat perturbed manner. No problem, we didn't know, but happy to make an appt. However, she went on to ask us questions like what we were looking to adopt, what pets are at home, all while we were standing on the street, btw. Her responses to our responses were negative and condescending, telling us our 10 yr. old cat does not want another cat, any new cat won't be her passed brother, etc. stating her experience as if that made her "opinion" gospel. I have worked in a pet related field for many yrs. dealing w/ many pet families & situations, & all situations vary. You may offer your advice or opinion, but it is not fact. However, she seemed to have an issue w/ us from the start for whatever reason, as the attitude was in her tone from the beginning of the 60 second interaction. All she had to go on was our appearance. We have a combined household income of $100+K, have cared for cats that we've rescued for over 20 years, and I find it surprising to deny a rescued cat a loving home someone is looking to give them.

I called to inquire about volunteer opportunities for my 15-year-old daughter. We already had an application ready, as one is available online. When I asked about volunteering, I was abruptly cut off and told, β€œI no longer take kids. I had nothing but trouble with them.” The call ended shortly after. I said β€œthank you,” but I was honestly taken aback by the tone. It would have been completely understandable to hear that 15 is too young, that there is an age limit, or that teen volunteering is no longer offered. Unfortunately, the response felt dismissive and judgmental, which was surprisingβ€”especially when someone is calling with the intention to help. We have two cats that we adopted two years ago from a different animal shelter, and my daughter is actively involved in their care. Our call was simply an attempt to volunteer. It’s absolutely okay if teen volunteers are no longer accepted, but there is a much kinder and more professional way to communicate that, particularly to families who are reaching out in good faith.

My husband wanted to get me a cat for Christmas.... it wasn't reckless decision made in a sesond... we were talking about it for 3 years.. we finally got to the position where we could afford stability, enough space and finances to provide for feline for next 15 years, maybe another friend. My husband just wanted to get a feel about a place and see cats. She said they are closed and you need to fill up application to set up appointment. I don't know, if I wanna adopt older cat and just want to see them first to make decision which one is best fit before we proceed applications.l... Maybe just me

I rescued a tiny 6 week old kitten who wandered into traffic at a red light while waiting for the light to turn green. When I first called this shelter, the owner was not feeling well and suggested I try some vets first, which was a good idea but both I visited had recently accepted strays, so they declined. I tried a couple other rescues and when nothing worked, I called the owner back & she agreed to take in this dear little kitten as a last resort. She instructed me to take the kitten to a vet she worked with and the employees were cheerful and the office very clean so I felt confident I was leaving this darling kitten in good hands. Some time later I asked to visit and Cindy very kindly obliged and let me visit the little guy. She mentioned she runs the entire thing by herself and I could not be more thankful a kind soul like her is caring for cats in need. I truly felt blessed to find her. I fell in love in the short time I had him & am so happy I found this place to find him a good home.
